About Me

My name is Chad.  I fell into Meth addiction in February of 2009 after I met somebody online.  I fell in love with her and I had no possible way to comprehend the months to follow.  It was an abusive relationship involving a very manipulative person and drugs, all of which was very detrimental to my health.  I broke the cycle January 2010 when a violent episode left me hospitalized.  At this point, I knew what had to be done.  I was shown very clearly what the outcome could have been and by all means should have been if it were not for something short of a miracle to say the least.  I cut off all relations with my ex and have been clean since.  

I enjoy a lot of things that I gave up since then.  I have found myself getting back into the rhythm of my old life, if not to say that I have found myself again and am currently rediscovering the things that used to make me the person I was; i.e. comedy, being able to laugh, music.  I enjoy a lot of things such as music, probably most importantly.  The path to recovery has been a long one and by no means an easy one, but through complete sobriety, no anti-depressants, nothing, I have found a lot of issues that have been completely ignored for some time and am currently working on myself above anything else.
