About Me

I am a Psychiatric Social Worker, specialized in Addictive Diseases for 27 years.  I have a Masters Degree from Yeshiva University.  I love helping people recover from addiction, and see them become happy and healthy members of society.  I joined this site in order to gain further knowledge, and to answer any questions that anyone may have regarding recovery.

Thank you Mary Jane.  It has been a little bit of hell, but it beats prolonging the inevitable.  It really does make a huge difference when being able to openly admit and accept what I have done to myself is accepted with no judgement.  I hope that just a piece of what myself and all of us here have to give is able to help you to understand a little more in depth of the psyche of an addict.  It really means a lot that a stranger can reach out to another stranger in the hopes of being able to provide the support to make both party's lives better.  Thanks again.
