Holidays are bittersweet
My family is in fairly good shape going into Christmas. But that can all change in an instant. So glad that I have you all to help me remember to take this journey "one day at a time".

In Response to: Holidays are bittersweet For me, taking things one day at a time means that I will not skip ahead and play scenarios in my head of things that might or might not happen. It also means that I can not live in the past with regret of things I could have/should have done differently. What does "one day at a time" mean in your life at this present time? In Response to: Holidays are bittersweet Anna, I totally agree with " doing is better than feeling or thinking or talking when it comes to healing your wounded soul." You are very wise. I am going to a church on Saturday that serves the homeless and recovering addicts in our downtown area. I'm just taking a few pot luck dishes for the Christmas dinner, while others are providing coats/blankets/food baskets/toys etc. Posted: 12/17/2014 7:55 PM Received 1 Thanks for this Post |
