About Me
I am 46 years old, mother of two wonderful children, and four dogs. I have been married for 15 years and my husband has struggled with addiction since 2012. He detoxed and cleaned up Aug 2014, but relapsed. His most recent drug of choice is meth, I think he has been using anywhere from 6 months to a year. I am terrified for his well-being, I love him and want him to make lifestyle changes, but am aware he has to be the one to opt for treatment, regardless of how I feel. I am currently working on my masters degree in social work and being aware of addiction through education, personal experiences (father), and client contact, I am very frightened of the trajectory my husband is on.
