Where to start
I am tired of taking the pain pills where do I start how do I find someone to get me started to be a buddy that understands ??

In Response to: Where to start I'm not in Texas, but I do understand. I'm a recovering heroin addict. I'm a little over a month clean, I've been clean before but this is the first time I've ever committed to it and i feel amazing. I do still have cravings and sometimes it's hard not using... But I honestly just keep myself busy and remind myself how much work it was getting to this point and that its not a process I ever want to put myself through again. I don't know how available suboxone is over your way or if you have insurance to help you but that's how I stopped. I got on suboxone and committed to it with no thoughts of ever returning. It's going to be hard, but waking up everyday with a clear head and not having to worry about money or the stress of being an addict is the best feeling in the world.
