Please tell me it's not crack.  Could the smell of crack possibly be compared to a pan on the stove warming up?  This is the closest thing I can compare the smell to coming from my bathroom.  Just this morning, i woke up to that smell and my first thought was my husband was cooking something on the stove and quickly realized he was in the bathroom a ways away from the stove.

I did and he got defensive and told me he didn't know what I was talking about. He is addi yes to opiates, alcohol and tested positive for cocaine last month.  I am having a really difficult time getting him to be honest and need to catch him red handed to get him to talk.  I am desperate

Trust your gut. Unfortunately you will have to take action.  Crack is toxic, and houses that have been crack and meth houses have to be razed. He needs to go.
