About Me
I am a 35 year old female, who is a recovering alcoholic. I have been sober for almost 4 years. I am currently in a relationship with a full-blown drug addict. I am at my wits end with him and really need support. It took me 10 years to get sober, so, I don't want to give up on my friend/boyfriend. It just seems that addiction to painkillers, methadone, and benzos is a horse of another color. Eventhough, I understand addiction this is very confusing to me. Besides, being affected by him, I work fulltime and have a relatively stable life. Just looking for answers for me, and for him.
