About Me
I am an addict named Angie. I was addicted to whatever took me away from myself substance wise. My drug of choice was Heroin, and My addiction really came into the picture after I had my wisdom teeth pulled, and was given percocet. Then I played the doctor shopping game until I had 60 20mg Oxycontin, and 120 5mg Norco (Vicodin) eventually that wasn't enough. I then snorted heroin for 3 years, and injected for 4 years. Now I am on Suboxone maintainence, and take urine tests monthly since being arrested in 4/08, and a relapse in 9/09. I am grateful to be alive, and for my supportive spouse. Also I am the mother of a 13 year old son, and an 11 year old daughter. My dad has been sober since I was 14, and he showed me that there is a better way.
